Clinique Deep Comfort Body Butter Review

What we think

Deep Comfort Body Butter Review from Clinique is an okay product. It’s nothing amazing, and it’s priced too high for what it does.

Let me explain…

For the price, I would have expected some amazingly different ingredients. Unfortunately, this product has nothing like that.

This product adds hydration to the skin. It has glycerin and sodium hyaluronate, both good hydrating ingredients. It has shea butter, which forms a thick layer on top of the skin and seals in the hydration glycerin and sodium hyaluronate to the skin. If the hydration is not sealed, it evaporates into the atmosphere. Shea butter also reduces the inflammation on the skin. Skin is always inflammed due to its constant exposure to the sun’s UV rays and environmental irritants. Sometimes, this inflammation is visible, and sometimes, it is not. Either way, this inflammation will eventually lead to pigmentation. So, using ingredients that can reduce inflammation is helpful.

Apart from this, there is nothing much the product does. A lot of products have the hydrating ingredients this product has. And they are priced much lower than this one.

It does have a beautiful texture, and we might mistake the texture for effectiveness. Don’t fall for the lovely texture and the attractive packaging.

How to use the product?

Apply this product after your shower. Gently rub it on your body. It’s helpful if your skin is slightly damp; don’t dry it off completely. Hydrating ingredients work better when the skin is a bit moist.
